01

How do I make a booking?

Contact Socioolite to discuss your preferred journey. Once a booking request is submitted, our team confirms availability and advises the deposit required to secure it. Bookings may be arranged seven days a week.

02

Which payment options are available?

Our published FAQ lists secure payment links, bank transfers and card payments. Cash may be accepted on the day for day tours only. Ask reservations to confirm the available payment method for your booking.

03

Can you create a journey around me?

Yes. We arrange tailor-made safaris and tours, selected self-drive options, incentive group travel and conference packages. Tell us your interests, preferred pace and travel dates.

04

What about guides and children?

Tours are conducted by registered English-speaking tourist guides. Mandarin, French, German and other language guides may be arranged on request at an additional charge. Special child rates are available on selected tours; our published FAQ refers to ages 5-12. Confirm eligibility and lodge age restrictions for your chosen journey.

05

When is a good time for a safari?

Our published guide highlights May to October for dry-season wildlife viewing, when animals often gather around rivers and waterholes. Mornings and evenings can be cold in winter; summer is generally warmer and wetter. Weather, seasons and demand vary by destination - ask our team about your chosen route.

06

What should I pack?

Choose lightweight, muted or neutral clothing and dress in layers for early and late game drives. Bring long-sleeved shirts and trousers, comfortable shoes, casual clothing, a warm jacket, raincoat, hat, sunglasses, swimwear and toiletries.

Your essentials: passport, camera, binoculars, mobile phone, travel bag, cards and cash, sunscreen, prescribed medication and relevant medical information. Snacks and a map may also be useful.

07

How should I prepare for travel health?

The original FAQ includes malaria and vaccination considerations. Consult a qualified travel-health professional about your itinerary, personal circumstances, vaccinations and any malaria prevention required. The FAQ is general information and does not replace medical advice.

08

What if I have not received a reply?

Check your spam or junk folder. The published FAQ states that Socioolite aims to reply within 24 hours. For assistance, email bookings@socioolitetravel-tours.co.za or contact +27 78 225 2270 / +27 63 781 2659. The original emergency contacts include info@socioolitetravel-tours.co.za and sales@socioolitetravel-tours.co.za.

09

Are your vehicles insured?

Our published FAQ states that vehicles carry passenger-liability insurance. Please ask our team if you need further details for your booking.

10

How are prices and abbreviations explained?

Tour costs are based on ground costs when an itinerary is prepared and may be affected by changes or exchange rates. The source document’s December 2025 price-validity date has expired; request a current quotation.

S: single / solo traveller. PPS: per person sharing; confirm the applicable party size. SCH: scheduled group departure for 10 or more people. CLD: child aged 0-12. SCH and CLD reflect Socioolite’s updated instructions; specific child rates remain tour-dependent.
