The Garden Route is a three hours road trip from PE to Tsitsikamma, the Storm River Village. The drive has majestic beauty and serene simplicity. Lying in its natural beauty is indigenous forests commercial plantation and fynbos.

DAY ONE PORT ELIZABETH / GARDEN ROUTE TSITSIKAMMA

Leaving the city of Johannesburg. It is an approximately 4 hour’s flight journeys to the Southeastern coastline, Port Elizabeth a small town known for its unique urban, natural, Heritage and Cultural offerings. Upon arrival travelers part take in a 3-hour guided walking Route 67 Public Art tour. Here you learn about architectural delights of the historic central city of PE.

* Travellers further take an afternoon drive to the Garden Route which is a three-hour road trip from PE to Tsitsikamma, the Storm River Village.

DAY TWO BIG TREE / SEGWAY OR SCOOTER TOUR

We head out for a full day with of 3km – 11km of Hiking and walking trails visiting the Big Tree 2.6km, a wooden boardwalk through indigenous forests leading to the Yellowwood Giant Tree with amazing descends to streams bordered by 2km giant tree ferns of the Tsitsikamma Mountains.

We further explore the local forests and village on either a two wheel glide or three wheel scooter taking us through a little adventure deep into the pristine Tsitsikamma indigenous forest.

DAY THREE TSITSIKAMMA NATIONAL PARK

Today you spend the day inside the scenic Tsitsikamma National Park, the place of Sparking Water, which has natural biota all living organisms of the Garden Route. Here you have the opportunity to view the gorge first-hand and to marvel at one of nature’s many wonders. The Stormrivers Mouth Hiking Trail meander up and down through coastal forest, allowing views of the sea, coast and river with a walk on the 77m long popular Suspension Bridge taking you to pebble beach. The Waterfall Walking Trail is a 6km walk taking you along a rocky shoreline for 3 km, where the Tweeriviere River Falls 50 meters into a large pool cascading into the sea, swimming is possible in the large pool of the waterfall.

Travellers have an option of choosing one activity between kayaking or the Canopy Tour where they enjoy secrets of spectacular and unique 3 hours wilderness views of Tsitsikamma on the tree Canopy Tour adventure zip-lining, standing 30 meters above the forest floor.

DAY FOUR BLOUKRANS / ENROUTE JOHANNESBURG

Travellers enjoy an early morning opportunity to experience the Bloukrans bungee jumping operation and learn about the construction of the highest jump in southern Africa. Enroute to the airport guest have an option to do a whale watching tour in Plettenberg or have lunch there before bordering the flight.
