For the time-strapped budget and adventure traveler, we have created a value for money Kruger Budget 4 day Safari. An excellent opportunity to spot the Big 5 at an affordable rate. During these 4 days, you can enjoy some of South Africa’s finest wildlife spots.! This budget safari departs daily from Johannesburg OR Tambo airport and You need to be at the OR Tambo bus terminal by 6.30 am.

We will send you full instructions upon booking confirmation. You travel East passing picturesque landscapes and farmlands on route to our lodge near Kruger. There are two 15 minute comfort stops where you can be able to buy snacks and refreshments during these comfort stops.

ETA in Hazyview is around 1 pm. The lodge driver will meet you at the drop off point and transfer you to the lodge in Sabi Sands.

Day by Day Itinerary for 4 Day Luxury Sabi Sands Tented Safari

Day 1: Johannesburg to Sabi Sands

After check in at Sabi Sands main Camp your guide will brief you and provide you with some information about the camp and the program ahead.

You will have time to freshen up enjoy a light snack before embarking on an exciting open vehicle sunset game drive. Each game drive is conducted by a qualified ranger as well as tracker.

You return to camp around 7 pm and will then have time to freshen up and prepare for dinner or free time to sit around the campfire. The food is well prepared, wholesome and tasty. Vegetarian options are available. Overnight in your Luxury Safari tent.

Day 2: Morning & Afternoon Safari Game drive in Sabi Sands

Enjoy early morning coffee or tea served with biscuits. You then depart on an exhilarating sunrise game drive.

The Sabie Game reserve is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the open sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. You will see a wide variety of wildlife while your guide and tracker also search for the BIG 5 including the Cheetah and Wild Dogs.

During this game drive we will stop for more tea and coffee served with a snack such as a muffins or croissants.  After this morning safari we’ll make our way back to camp for a hearty breakfast / brunch. After breakfast guest have option of free time until the next afternoon safari.

Day  3: Panorama Route

Enjoy an early morning hearty breakfast / brunch before leaving for a full day Panorama Route day tour which is a scenic road in South Africa connecting several cultural and natural points of interest. This route, steeped in the history of South Africa, is situated in the Mpumalanga province. The route is centred around the Blyde River Canyon, the world’s third largest canyon.

This is the last day of your African Kruger safari. You will enjoy a final sunrise game drive followed by a hearty breakfast. After breakfast we depart back to Hazyview to catch a shuttle back to Johannesburg. This tour allows you more chances of seeing the big 5 over the 3 days.
