Day by Day Itinerary for 3 Day Dinokeng Luxury Safari 

Day One

Johannesburg to Dinokeng nature reserve 

We’ll depart early from Johannesburg / Pretoria and drive North towards the Dinokeng nature reserve. This route showcases some of the finest farmlands and mountain passes in South Africa. En route, we will have comfort stops during which  you can also buy snacks, drinks and other food items.

 After check in at Dinokeng main Camp your guide will brief you and provide you with some information about the camp and the program ahead. 

You will have time to freshen up enjoy a light snack before embarking on an exciting open vehicle sunset game drive.

• Transfer from Johannesburg to Dinokeng
• Midday Arrive at lodge and check in
• Settle in and explore Lodge
•  Lunch at lodge
• Late afternoon Sunset and night game drive
• Evening Dinner at luxury lodge
• Overnight stay at your luxury lodge

Each game drive is conducted by a qualified ranger as well as tracker.

The food is well prepared, wholesome and tasty. Vegetarian options are available. Overnight at luxury lodge

Day Two

Game drive 

Enjoy early morning coffee or tea served with biscuits. You then depart on an exhilarating sunrise game drive

• Coffee, tea and rusks followed by sunrise game drive.
• Morning return to lodge for breakfast
• Afternoon return lodge for lunch
• Late afternoon sunset and evening Game drive
• Evening free time and dinner

Day Three

Game drive & Return to Johannesburg

Enjoy early morning coffee or tea served with biscuits. You then depart on an exhilarating sunrise game drive.The Dinokeng reserve is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the open sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities.

• Coffee, tea and biscuits followed by sunrise game drive in Dinokeng nature reserve park.
• Early morning return to lodge.
• Mid morning Transfer shuttle back to Johannesburg.
• Drop off at Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport

You will see a wide variety of wildlife while your guide and tracker also search for the BIG 5 as well Cheetah and Wild Dogs.  After this morning safari we’ll make our way to back to camp for a hearty breakfast / brunch.After breakfast we depart back to Johannesburg.
