Hartbeespoort Road Trip

Description

Hartbeespoort is a South Africa’s resort town north of Johannesburg. It’s known for the Hartbeespoort dam and the white-water rapids of the Crocodile River. The surroundings host some panoramic views of the beautiful Magalisberg Mountains. This town boosts fun for the whole family.

DAY ONE HOTEL / LODGE UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE

Leaving the city of Johannesburg behind us we make our way N1 North towards the Northwest province through the scenic mountains of Magaliesberg. Our first stop includes a visit to the Upside-Down House which will leave travelers with an amazing experience as to one’s mind cannot comprehend what is happening in the house. Upon arrival at lodge travelers have free time.

*10:00 – 11:00 AM Upside-Down House

The Upside-Down house is a house-built upside down.  All the furniture inside which would normally be on the floor, is now above your head, this is where we explore the unusual.

*11:30 – 12:30 AM Lunch Own Cost

The rest of the afternoon travelers have free time to leisure at lodge.

DAY TWO LUNCH CRUISE

*07:00 – 10:00 AM Free Breakfast.

* 10:00 – 11:00 AM Swimming and free leisure time.

*11:00 – 11:40 AM Harties Dam Wall.

Here you get instagrammable moments in the valley of the magalies mountain range, allowing you time to explore the beautiful harties dam wall.

*13:00 – 15:00 PM Lunch Cruise

Travelers head out to the Harties Dam to enjoy a 2-hour guided Lunch Boat Cruise on the Hartbeespoort Dam taking in the fauna and flora whistle snacking to a scrumptious selection of traditional South African hot and cold finger and fork gourmet snacks, along some good music and people.

*15:30 PM Return to hotel & free time

Travelers enjoy the rest of the afternoon on free time at the hotel facilities or the surrounding area.

DAY THREE CABLEWAY CAR TO JOHANNESBURG

*7:00 – 11:00 AM Free Breakfast.

All travelers must be packing up to get ready to leave Hartbeespoort for the trip back to Johannesburg.

*10:00 – 11:00 AM Free time.

Travelers can swim or make use of the Spa facilities around.

*11:30 AM – 13:30 PM Harties Cable Way Car.

Before return departure travelers enjoy a 180 degrees mountain view ride on the Harties Arial Cableway Car. Upon arrival on top of the mountain’s travelers enjoy the panoramic views of the beautiful Magalisberg dam and surrounding areas.

*14:00 PM – 14:40 PM Little Paris.

We end of our day with an instagrammble stop, allowing us to see the miniature version of the Eiffel Tower.
