Day 01 · Khwai Concession

Your journey begins in Maun, where a warm welcome leads into a scenic bush flight over the Okavango landscape. Channels, islands and floodplains unfold beneath you before your arrival at Khwai. Settle into your tented camp, enjoy a welcome drink and let the wilderness set the pace. After dark, a guided night drive introduces the quieter, more elusive life of the concession.

Today brings a more personal perspective on Khwai. Meet local residents, discover basket-weaving traditions and hear stories that connect everyday life with this remarkable setting. Browse local crafts before returning to the concession for an afternoon safari. The balance of community encounters and wilderness gives the day a different rhythm, with dinner awaiting your return to camp.

Begin on the water with a mokoro excursion, moving gently through the delta channels as your guide reveals the landscape at close quarters. Your next bush flight carries you towards Chobe, followed by a transfer and welcome at your lodge. In the evening, a sunset cruise offers another view of the wilderness, with the river, its banks and the changing sky becoming the focus.

Chobe rewards time and patience. Spend the day exploring its varied landscapes with your guide, moving between morning and afternoon safari drives and pausing for a picnic lunch. Along the riverfront, watch for wildlife coming to the water; further inland, discover a different character of the park. Back at the lodge, dinner offers a gentle close to a richly absorbing day.

Day 07 · Kazungula to Victoria Falls

A border crossing. An entirely new chapter.

After breakfast and a morning safari in the Chobe or Kazuma area, continue towards Kazungula for the border-region experience listed in your itinerary. Your road transfer then takes you into Zimbabwe and on to Victoria Falls. A welcome drink marks your arrival, followed by a sunset cruise on the Zambezi: an elegant transition from Botswana’s safari landscapes to your final destination.

Take to the air for the helicopter experience known as the Flight of Angels, then discover Victoria Falls on foot with a guided tour of the rainforest viewpoints. The historic bridge adds another perspective on the gorge and the region’s story. Later, return to the lodge for high tea, time by the pool and sundowners before dinner. Bungee jumping can be arranged separately if you wish.

Your arranged transfer then takes you to Victoria Falls International Airport for your onward journey.
