Day 01 · South Africa

Day 1

Johannesburg to Madikwe

Depart Johannesburg early for the overland journey to Madikwe Game Reserve. Enjoy the changing scenery along the route. There are scheduled stops along the way. Around midday, we enter the park and check in at our luxury lodge. After check-in, enjoy time at leisure. You can use this time to explore the underground hide / bush walk on private trail, watch waterhole activities.

In the late afternoon, enjoy high tea followed by a 3 hour Game drive in open-sided Land Cruiser. During the drive, we will stop for sundowner drinks and a chance to stretch your legs. We will return to the lodge, freshen up, enjoy drinks at the bar and settle in for dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day 2

Madikwe activities

Begin with tea, coffee and light refreshments before a three-hour game drive in an open Land Cruiser. Pause for tea and coffee along the way. Then return to the lodge for a delicious breakfast. After breakfast you will have some time to relax. Activities to do include: Swimming, sunbathing, underground hiding, walking trails or watching the waterhole in the Early afternoon.

  • Morning return to lodge & Breakfast
