Day 3: Morning Kruger Game drive & Afternoon Kruger Safari

Day 4: Morning Kruger Game drive & Afternoon Sabi Sands Safari

Visitors to Arathusa Safari Lodge will no doubt agree that our signature feature is the vast waterhole that lies directly in front of the lodge, flanked by an open plain. This massive body of water attracts numerous animal species, and it’s for this reason that guests are treated to rich animal sightings directly from the comfort of the lodge.

Day 5: Morning Game drive & Afternoon Sabi Sands Safari

Over 90% of guests will experience sightings of The Big Five – very often in one day, and sometimes on one drive! General “lowveld” game species are abundant in this section of the Sabi Sand Reserve. Arathusa prides itself on its leopard viewings, with good sightings of a number of different lion prides in the area, as well as a few nomadic males. The Lodge is unique and highly sought-after by visitors because of its prime location within the Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to the unfenced Kruger National Park. Together these two areas comprise one of South Africa’s most incredible and pristinely preserved wilderness sanctuaries.
