On this day your African safari begins in Maun, the gateway to Botswana’s wilderness. Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari team where after a short briefing, you board a scenic bush flight over the spectacular landscapes of the Okavango Delta. From the air you will see winding waterways, lush islands and wildlife roaming across the floodplains. Upon arrival at Khwai Airstrip, you will be transferred to your luxury tented accommodation in the Khwai Concession.
In the evening, enjoy your first safari activity an exciting night game drive where your guide searches for nocturnal wildlife such as leopards, civets, hyenas, and owls.
