Day 1 Arrive In Kruger | Sunset Safari
Your Southern African adventure begins with meeting your expedition crew and boarding your overland truck for the journey towards Kruger National Park. Set up camp at your campsite before heading into the bush for your first sunset game drive.
As daylight fades, watch the African wilderness transform. Keep your eyes open for elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, antelope and predators beginning their evening activity. Return to camp for dinner and your first night beneath the African sky.

Day 2 Full Day Kruger Big 5 Safari
After breakfast, pack your day bags and depart on a full day Kruger safari. Travel through different sections of the park searching for the legendary Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo together with giraffe, zebra, hippo, wild dogs and an incredible variety of birdlife.
Enjoy stops along the way before returning to camp. Spend the evening around the campfire sharing stories with fellow travelers.

Day 5 Free Morning Eswatini → Mlilwane → Bushfire
Enjoy a relaxed morning before transferring to your Eswatini sanctuary/accommodation. For guests seeking adventure, optional Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary activities can be arranged, depending on availability and the selected program. Choose from nature based experiences such as game viewing, walking, cycling or other onsite activities.
Later, return to the Bushfire Festival grounds for your final afternoon and evening of music, culture and celebration. Soak up the atmosphere, dance to the rhythms of Africa, connect with fellow travellers and make the most of your last night at Bushfire.

Day 6 Eswatini → Ponta Do Ouro
After breakfast, break camp and board your overland truck for the journey from Eswatini into Mozambique. Travel south towards Ponta do Ouro, a laid back coastal destination famous for its golden beaches, warm Indian Ocean waters and relaxed beach atmosphere. Arrive at Gala Gala Eco Resort, check in and settle into your accommodation. The afternoon is yours to relax on the beach, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, enjoy the coastline or simply unwind after your overland journey.
As the sun begins to set, return to the resort and enjoy a relaxed evening with your fellow travelers. Leave the mountains behind. Feel the sand beneath your feet and let the Indian Ocean welcome you to Mozambique.

Day 7 Ponta Do Ouro → Katembe Bridge → Maputo
Wake up in beautiful Ponta do Ouro and enjoy breakfast before boarding your overland truck for the journey towards Maputo. Travel through Mozambique’s scenic southern coastline before crossing the spectacular Maputo–Katembe Bridge, one of Africa’s impressive suspension bridges, connecting the coastal town of Katembe with Maputo.
Arrive in Maputo, check into your accommodation and settle in. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure. Relax at the hotel, explore the local surroundings, discover a café or restaurant, or simply unwind and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Mozambique’s capital.

Day 8 Maputo City Tour → Johannesburg

Join a guided Maputo city tour, discovering the city’s fascinating architecture, history, markets, vibrant culture and Portuguese-influenced heritage. Experience the character of Mozambique’s capital and enjoy a final taste of its unique food and urban atmosphere.
After the city tour, board your overland truck and begin the scenic journey back to Johannesburg.
